developing the leader in you
The Utah Rural Leadership Academy (URLA) is a partnership between the Utah Association of Counties (UAC) and Southern Utah University (SUU). URLA facilitates powerful exercises and active learning opportunities designed to assist emerging and established leaders in Utah's rural communities. The objective of the Academy is to develop a leadership network and to equip the state's county leaders with administrative and leadership skills through relevant experiential learning modules. Key relationship-building will be combined with content designed to assist in keeping counties operating vibrantly, responding to demands, and preparing for the future.
The year-long Leadership Academy work is delivered in tracks with in-person training, online programming, and a capstone project.
