The Board of Directors provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the association. Comprised of county officials from across Utah, the Board ensures that UAC’s priorities reflect the needs of all 29 counties. The Board guides policy, programs, and advocacy efforts to strengthen county government and serve Utah residents.
Structure of the UAC Board of Directors
- County Representation:29 members: appointed by each county legislative body
- Affiliate Representation:8 members: appointed by UAC affiliate organizations
- At-Large Directors:6 members: appointed annually by the Executive Committee, including 1 corporate partner member
- Ex-Officio Members:6 members: UAC CEO (non-voting) and 5 Executive Committee members (non-voting)
